ABOUT SHARON
checkered moon was created by sharon crow, who felt limited by the stores in champaign, il. instead of shopping out of town and putting up with it, she decided champaign deserved better and decided to open her own store. when she found out her best friend kerry was available to help manage the store she knew then that checkered moon was truly a reality. with her vision and determination, checkered moon opened its doors in october, 2000 with much success.
at checkered moon, sharon has found an outlet for her creativity and passion. sharon likes to describe the store as fresh, colorful and a bit modern …and that's just what it is. you’ll see all these components throughout checkered moon and throughout her interior design work that she still does for clients as well as in checkered moon.
